Robyn Hitchcock & The Venus 3 - "Goodnight Oslo"
The title track to Hitchcock and company's new album is pretty groovy in its studio version. But live, man, it's absolutely hypnotic and trippy. It was a perfect closer for a great show at Irving Plaza Saturday night. I am so glad I get to see them again in June at The Bell House. (Especially since the show started about 30 minutes earlier than any Irving Plaza show I have been to. Which meant we missed about 20 minutes of their set. D'oh!)
